"Here, There and Everywhere"

Art Heals: Art has the capability to inspire and impact an individual's road to recovery. It isn't important whether the artist heals through the creation of the art, or the patron feels inspired and uplifted by the art, just the fact that it happens at all. Works of art that are submitted for this exhibit should have some relationship to a healing process, whether it is the artist's own journey, depicts a person, place or thing that inspires, or speaks to a medical concern or issue. Art can touch someone's heart and soul, and help them become whole and healthy. Help us heal.
Frederick Memorial Hospital is interested in reaching out to local artists by offering them a unique opportunity in this unique setting. The artists will be able to impact this space by creating a visually positive and uplifting environment for the community and the center's patients. Each showing will have its own theme chosen to inspire. The art will have significant visibility in this venue. The art will be rotated on a regular basis.
