Frederick Regional Health System is continuously working to improve our facilities throughout Frederick County. We currently have active construction projects at Frederick Memorial Hospital, Rose Hill, and the James M. Stockman Cancer Institute.

Frederick Memorial Hospital Construction Update
Our new main lobby opened in the fall of 2015. Connected to our parking garage, this new lobby allows patients and visitors to easily access the hospital, registration, surgical check-in, and many other services. When visiting the main hospital campus, please visit the information desk if you’re in need of assistance.

Upon completion of the new main lobby, construction work has moved to the other side of our hospital campus, near Blue Entrance #3 and Orange Entrance #4. This phase of construction focuses on our Emergency Department and ambulance access. This phase of construction is slated for completion in the fall of 2016.

New signage will be installed this fall to better assist patients and visitors with navigation and wayfinding from 7th Street, on the hospital campus, and in the parking garage.

Rose Hill and James M. Stockman Cancer Institute Construction Update
Groundbreaking of the James M. Stockman Cancer Institute took place in March of 2016. Slated for completion in mid-2017, the 62,000 square foot building will provide state of the art facilities for our community’s cancer patients.

Our Rose Hill facility remains open to patients during this construction project. Please follow signage in the parking lot when arriving for procedures. If you have any questions, please contact your service provider at Rose Hill; they will be able to assist you with accessing the facility.
