Construction

Frederick Regional Health System is continuously working to improve our facilities throughout Frederick County. We currently have active construction projects at Frederick Memorial Hospital, Rose Hill, and the James M Stockman Cancer Institute.

Frederick Memorial Hospital Construction Update
Exterior signage is being installed at all of our public entrances and within our parking lot/garage to assist with access to the hospital. Internal signage is being installed to provide additional wayfinding assistance for patients and visitors.

Rose Hill and James M Stockman Cancer Institute Construction Update
Groundbreaking of the James M. Stockman Cancer Institute took place in March of 2016. Slated for completion in mid-2017, the 62,000 square foot building will provide state of the art facilities for our community’s cancer patients. Currently, brick is being installed on the exterior of the cancer institute, as well as windows and other masonry work. Inside of the building, interior framing is ongoing.

Our Rose Hill facility remains open to patients during this construction project. Renovations within the existing Rose Hill building are nearing completion. Please follow signage in the parking lot when arriving for any services at the Rose Hill campus.

If you have any questions, please contact your service provider at Rose Hill; they will be able to assist you with accessing the facility.
