Miles & Stockbridge Foundation Joins FMH Corporate Honor Roll

Recently, Miles & Stockbridge Foundation presented Frederick Memorial Hospital (FMH) with a $10,000 pledge establishing them as one of the newest members of the FMH Corporate Honor Roll. This contribution will help build the new James M. Stockman Cancer Institute slated to open in Summer 2017. This new facility will house Frederick Regional Health System’s award-winning cancer care program.

“Over the years, the Miles & Stockbridge Foundation has supported many worthy causes in the Frederick community. We are proud to support Frederick Memorial Hospital and the new James M. Stockman Cancer Institute. Frederick Memorial Hospital’s development of this new state-of-the-art cancer institute, along with its recent affiliation with the MD Anderson Cancer Center, will greatly improve the available services and cancer treatment here in our community and the surrounding area. We are proud to be a part of supporting this important initiative to transform healthcare services here in our community,” stated Joseph S. Welty, Managing Principal, Frederick office of Miles & Stockbridge.

The FMH Business & Industry Committee founded the FMH Corporate Honor Roll program to provide financial support for FMH's strategic capital goals. The Corporate Honor Roll roster includes a diverse group of 75 local businesses, organizations and foundations dedicated to helping FMH fulfill its commitment to serving the health care needs of our community.
