Frequently Asked Questions

What instructions should I give my healthcare agent concerning my healthcare?

You may give very general instructions or be quite specific. Though not required, it is helpful to your healthcare agent to have directions from you about such things as life-prolonging interventions, such as artificially-supplied food and water (tube feedings), cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of machines to help you breathe, and organ and tissue donation.
