Frequently Asked Questions

Can I still make my own healthcare decisions once I have created Advance Directives?

Yes. You always have the right to make your own healthcare decisions. Your Advance Directives become effective only when you are incapable of expressing your wishes. If you do not have Advance Directives, others will make decisions for you. As soon as you can make your own healthcare decisions again, you would be asked to do so.
