Frequently Asked Questions

What must I do for a "fasting" test?

Fasting means that you should have no food or beverage, other than water, for 8 to 12 hours before your test. You can take your prescribed medications unless your doctor has instructed you otherwise. You can also brush your teeth, toothpaste does not affect your fasting status.
