The  FMH Gift Shop has moved to its NEW LOCATION!

 The Gift Shop’s new location is at the end of the Grand Atrium corridor of the hospital’s new main entrance, just adjacent to the new surgical waiting area.  The Gift Shop is convenietly located and is the perfect place to buy a beverage, pick up a light snack, or buy a magazine to read.

Visitors will find a wide variety of items in the FMH Gift Shop, all designed to make your stay – or your friend’s or loved one’s stay – at FMH as comfortable and convenient as possible.  From frilly, fun gifts to the necessities of life; respected news magazines and best selling novels, the men and women of the Auxiliary have stocked the FMH Gift Shop with exactly what you will need to celebrate the birth of a baby, or cheer up the convalescing post-op spouse.  If you don’t see it – just ask!

• Gifts

The Gift Shop has a wide variety of cuddly, soft stuffed animals.  From giraffes to bunnies,
monkeys to ducks, the FMH Gift Shop has just about any stuffed animal you can imagine.
There are helium balloons available with just the message you want to convey:

 Get Well Soon!   Congratulations!   It’s a Boy!

Just come down and ask the helpful volunteers for the message balloon that's just right for you.

• Knick-Knacks and Keepsakes

The FMH Gift Shop if chock-full of knick-knacks and keepsakes that will remind your loved one that someone is thinking about them all of the time.  Delicate vases and religious icons, fanciful nature scenes and seasonal bric-a-brac are available and reasonably priced in the Gift Shop.

• Reading Material and “Time-Fillers”

The Gift Shop has a wide selection of reading material including best selling novels, historical accounts of the civil war’s greatest battles, retrospectives of Frederick City accounts, and light, uplifting books of poetry and short stories.  The magazine racks are loaded with the latest editions of some of America’s most read magazines.

• Necessities and Toiletries

Did you forget some special personal items at home?  Not to worry.  The Gift Shop has a wide selection of personal items from lotions and potions to razors and film.  You can even purchase a calling card so that it is easy to stay in touch with loved ones who may live far away.  If you don’t see what you are looking for, just ask the helpful volunteers.

• Flowers

Fresh Flowers replenished daily by local florists are always available to cheer up
your friend or loved one, to congratulate new parents, or just to say "I'm thinking of you."

You can call the gift shop, order flowers, pay by credit card, and
and have the flowers delivered right to your friend's or loved one's room.
