Parent Grief Support Group
The grief of bereaved parents is one of the most intense sorrows known. When a child dies, parents feel that a part of them has died. And, their hopes and dreams of the future appear to be lost. The purpose of this support group is to affirm parents and help them understand that there are many ways to grieve; there is no time table for grief’s duration; there are no rules, boundaries or protocols for grieving. The support group is open to parents who have lost a child of any age. Please call 240-566-3030 to register by July 25.
