Gifts of Tribute

There are several ways to make a gift in honor of or in memory of someone who has had an impact on your life. 

• Gifts in honor or in memory of a loved one can be made through our Gifts of Tribute program. Gifts can also be made in honor of birthdays, anniversaries, etc…
• Gifts to honor a physician, nurse or caregiver can be made through our Grateful Patient program.
• Gift to celebrate the birth of a newborn child can be made through our Cradle Roll program.
  
  

Cradle Roll

The Cradle Roll is designed to celebrate the birth of a child, a grandchild, a relative, or the child of a special friend. All babies born at Frederick Memorial Hospital are eligible for the Cradle Roll. Parents, relatives or friends may honor their favorite baby with a minimum donation of $50 to Frederick Memorial Hospital. The names and birthdays of enrolled babies are prominently displayed on the wall in The BirthPlace at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Parents will receive a decorative certificate at the time of enrollment, and both the child's and the donor's names will be included in Hospital publications. Gifts received through The Cradle Roll are used for services and specialized equipment in the FMH BirthPlace.

Gift of Tribute

Gift of Tribute is a meaningful way to honor friends and loved ones. It is a way to express gratitude for acts of kindness; to recognize joyous occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries and promotions; or to remember those who have died. The amount of the donation is kept confidential, and an acknowledgement of the gift and occasions is sent to the person designated.

All charitable gifts contributed to this institution, unless specifically restricted by the donor, are deposited in a special development fund account that is used solely for capital expansion, renovation and equipment needs of FMH. No monies contributed into this fund are used to pay operating expenses or salaries.

If you or a loved one has ever been a patient of FMH, you may have encountered a doctor, nurse, technician or volunteer who brought you comfort in a time of need. Our Grateful Patient Program provides patients with a way to say "thank you" to a caregiver who has made a difference in their lives. Gifts received through this program pay tribute to a special caregiver, while also helping to provide essential resources for a healthier tomorrow -- for you, for your family and for our community. You may participate in two ways either online or via the mail:

Online
1. Write a brief personal message of appreciation to your caregiver(s).
2. Make a gift in honor of your caregiver 

When making a gift online, please select "Grateful Patient" as the Designation.

By Mail
