Narayan (Ryan) Kulkarni, DO, UHM, FAACWS Medical Director Wound Care Specialist Hyperbaric Medicine Physician
Dr. Kulkarni earned his medical degree at the Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa and then completed an internal medicine internship and family medicine residency at Mount Carmel Medical Center, in Columbus, Ohio, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Kulkarni is board certified through the American Board of Medical Specialties in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine and Family Medicine. He is board certified through the American Board of Wound Management as a Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) and is a fellow of the Academy of Wound Care Specialists. He has been in practice for over 10 years.
James Grissom, MD Wound Care Specialist Hyperbaric Medicine Physician
Dr. Grissom earned his medical degree at the University of Colorado in Denver and then completed an internal medicine internship and residency at George Washington University Hospital, in Washington, DC. After residency, he went on to complete a pulmonary critical care fellowship at the University of Miami. Dr. Grissom obtained his hyperbaric medicine certification in 2011 in San Antonio and transitioned into the field of wound care from pulmonary and general internal medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care, and has been in practice in Frederick for over 33 years.
Wound Care Specialist Hyperbaric Medicine Physician
Dr. Pepper earned his medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City in 1985 and then completed an emergency medicine residency at the University of Chicago in 1988 . Dr. Pepper obtained his hyperbaric medicine certification in San Antonio in 2012, and transitioned into the field of hyperbaric medicine and wound care from emergency medicine. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and has been in practice for over 25 years.
Adam Mecinski, MD Plastic Surgery Wound Care Specialist Hyperbaric Medicine Physician
Dr. Mecinski earned his medical degree at Georgetown University followed by an internship and general surgical residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock hospital in Lebanon, New Hampshire. After his general surgery residency, he completed a 2 year plastic surgery fellowship at Kings County SUNY Downstate hospital in Brooklyn, New York followed by a 1 year hand fellowship at the University of Rochester. He obtained his hyperbaric medicine certification in 2007 at the Woodlands, Texas. He is board certified in Plastic Surgery and has been a wound care specialist for over 10 years.
Shan-e-Ali Haider, MD, FACS, RPVI Vascular Surgery Wound Care Specialist
Dr. Haider earned his medical degree at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and received his general surgery training at the University of Rochester. After his general surgery residency, he completed a fellowship in vascular and endovascular surgery at the University of Pittsburgh where he received extensive training in endovascular techniques. Dr. Haider has special interests in all forms of venous disease including varicose veins and deep venous thrombosis (DVT). He also has a strong passion for using minimally invasive techniques for limb salvage. Dr. Haider is board certified in Vascular Surgery and has been a wound care specialist for over 5 years.
Tracey Culbertson, MD Plastic Surgery Wound Care Specialist
Dr. Culbertson grew up here in Frederick, where she attended Governor Thomas Johnson High School. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland in College Park and earned her medical degree at the University of Maryland at Baltimore. She completed a combined residency of four years of general surgery and two years of plastic surgery at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She has a special interest in hidradenitis suppurativa, skin cancer, surgical site wounds, burns, flaps and grafts. Dr. Culbertson is board certified in Plastic Surgery and has been a wound care specialist for over 7 years.
Stephen McKenna, MD, FACS, CWS General Surgery Wound Care Specialist
Dr. McKenna both earned his medical degree and completed his residency in general surgery at Howard University in Washington, DC. He has special interests in advanced laparascopic procedures, weight loss surgery, and hernia repair. Dr. McKenna is board certified in General Surgery and is also an ABWM board Certified Wound Specialist (CWS). He has been in practice for 25 years.
Yenisey Yanes, DPM, AACFAS Podiatric Surgery, General Podiatry Wound Care Specialist
Dr. Yenisey Yanes earned her podiatric medical degree from the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Florida. She then completed three years of a podiatric medicine foot and ankle surgical residency at Kendall Regional Medical Center in Miami, Florida. Dr. Yanes special areas of interest are foot and ankle trauma, diabetic limb salvage, and reconstructions. Dr. Yanes is board certified in Podiatric Medicine and has been in practice for 3 years.
Nga (Nikki) Ho, DPM, AACFAS Podiatric Surgery, General Podiatry Wound Care Specialist
Dr. Ho earned her podiatric medical degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and then completed a three year podiatric surgical residency program where she served as chief resident at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. Dr. Ho is board eligible in Podiatric Medicine and has been in practice since 2011.
