More than 29 million people in the U.S. have diabetes, and millions more
remain undiagnosed. This seminar will look at the effects of this disease
and the importance of prevention. A discussion of lifestyle interventions
and a cooking demonstration will highlight this interactive event.
Surviving the Holidays

This seminar focuses on practical ways to take care of one’s self
mentally and physically during this stressful season of the year. Topics
and demonstrations will include mental relaxation techniques, seated yoga
demonstration and a humorous yet educational cooking demonstration with
a local culinary instructor.
All seminars will be held in the second floor conference room at The Women’s
Center at FMH Crestwood, 7211 Bank Court, Frederick, MD 21703. Walk-ins
