March is National Nutrition Month; a month-long campaign developed by the
Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics focused on nutrition education and
information, as well as the importance of making informed food choices
and developing sound eating and physical activity habits.
The 2016 National Nutrition Month theme is “Savor the Flavor of Eating
Right”. According to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, this
theme encourages everyone to take time to enjoy food traditions and appreciate
the pleasures, great flavors and social experiences food can add to our lives.
Throughout the month we’ll be sharing healthy eating and nutrition
tips to help you savor the flavor of eating right!
