Frederick Regional Health System is proud to announce that we have not
only met our Employee Giving Campaign goal, we’ve exceeded it! More
than 200 employees have donated nearly $30,000 as part of our annual Employee
Giving Campaign. This exceeded our goal of $25,000!
All funds raised during our Employee Giving Campaign go directly back to
the Frederick Community through the United Way of Frederick County to
support the local efforts to improve health, education, financial literacy
and more. Heartly House, Hospice of Frederick County, and many other local
organizations also benefit from the United Way. Thanks to the support
and generosity of our employees, these organizations are using local dollars
for local solutions, so we can keep transforming lives together.
Martha Gurzick, Clinical Nurse Specialist at Frederick Memorial Hospital
and Secretary of the United Way of Frederick County Executive Board, along
with Mike McLane, Director of Medical-Surgical and Behavioral Health Services
at Frederick Memorial Hospital, serve as co-chairs of the Employee Giving
Campaign at Frederick Regional Health System.
To show our generous employees how thankful we are for their continued
dedication to the Frederick community, Martha and Mike had a special treat
for them this morning! Employees entering the hospital from 6:30 –
8:30 a.m. were greeted by Mike and Martha, and extended personal thanks
for their generosity.
Every day our team impacts the community in the work that they do, and
over the last 3 weeks they have taken that to another level. Thank you
for your continued efforts to provide the Frederick Community with superb
quality and superb service, all the time.
