“Frederick Woman’s Civic Club has been an important part of the Frederick community for many years. Thanks to the Club’s generosity, cancer patients from our area will be able to receive the very best and most convenient treatment right here close to home at the James M. Stockman Cancer Institute,” stated Tom Kleinhanzl, President & CEO, Frederick Regional Health System.

“The Frederick Woman’s Civic Club has been serving the Frederick Community for over 105 years and has aided in the funding of numerous projects. The Annual Mardi Gras Gala, over the past 55 years, has enabled the club to support various endeavors. The James M. Stockman Cancer Institute will be a recipient of its proceeds this year. The club understands how vital this institute is to meeting the needs of health care for children and adults in our community. The members of FWCC are honored to have a part in assisting with this project,” stated Rosemary Glenn, President, Frederick Woman’s Civic Club.

In addition, Frederick Women’s Civic Club, Inc. will be recognized as a member of the FMH Corporate Honor Roll. The FMH Business & Industry Committee founded the FMH Corporate Honor Roll program to provide financial support for FMH's strategic capital goals. The Corporate Honor Roll roster includes a diverse group of 78 local businesses, organizations and foundations dedicated to helping FMH fulfill its commitment to serving the health care needs of our community.
