Werres Corporation donates Custom Pallet Truck to Frederick Memorial Hospital on behalf of Hurwitz Breast Cancer Fund

On behalf of the Hurwitz Breast Cancer Fund, Werres Corporation, has donated a customized pink 8210 Walkie Pallet Truck to Frederick Memorial Hospital. The trucks pink-motif, emblazoned with the names and logos of both Frederick Memorial Hospital and The Hurwitz Breast Cancer Fund, was designed and donated by Frederick, MD-based, Airport View Signs.

In addition to the 8210 Walkie Pallet Truck donation, Werres Corporation also made a $3,000 cash donation to the Hurwitz Breast Cancer Fund, at the end of a month long effort to raise breast cancer awareness amongst its customers. “We are proud to support the breast cancer awareness cause, in conjunction with the Hurwitz Breast Cancer Fund, with the donation of this pink Raymond fork lift and a check for $3,000 to Frederick Memorial Hospital. Anything we can do to drive awareness about breast cancer will benefit the effort for a cure.” said Keith Burlingame, President of Werres Corporation.

About the Hurwitz Breast Cancer Fund:

The Hurwitz Breast Cancer Fun at Frederick Memorial Hospital was established in 1999 by Jeff and Patty Hurwitz, after Patty’s diagnosis of breast cancer. Believing that early diagnosis was the key to Patty’s successful outcome, the goal of the fund has been to provide the most innovative options n early detection and treatment of breast cancer.

Over the past decade, more than $1.4 million dollars has been provided through community support for the fund and its events.
