Within our pulmonary department at Frederick Regional Health System, the
programs we offer include:
Pulmonary Function Lab – We run pulmonary function tests that are designed to get information
about your lung function and to detect any respiratory diseases. We also
offer pediatric pulmonary function tests for children between the ages
of 5 and 17.
Pulmonary Rehab Program – Our Pulmonary Rehab program is created to help our patients who
have chronic lung diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
(COPD) or who have undergone a recent lung transplant or lung surgery.
We help patients rehabilitate their lungs, improving their stamina, strength,
endurance, and quality of life. Staff members at the program include exercise
physiologists, respiratory therapists, and registered nurses.
