Construction and Parking

Starting April 1, you will begin to see some changes in how patients and visitors access the hospital. These changes are a result of ongoing construction to improve our Emergency Department and better serve the growing community.

Prior to your visit, please download this parking & entrance map.

To make your next visit to FMH as smooth as possible, please note the following changes to our entrances:

Emergency Entrance   The Emergency Department entrance will remain open for Emergency patients and visitors.

Inpatient & Visitors Entrance   Inpatient & Visitors On April 1, our main lobby doors will close to facilitate our Emergency Department project. The Inpatient Lobby entrance (formerly known as the BirthPlace entrance) on the East side of campus will be used for visitors and to access hospital services such as registration for outpatient surgery, mother/ baby services, imaging, direct admission, and the sleep center. is entrance will remain open 24 hours a day and is handicap accessible. You can get to the Inpatient entrance by way of the Toll House Road traffic light entrance or the hospital entrance that runs alongside Trail Avenue ("East Campus Lane").

Blue Entrance   The Blue entrance is to be used for all clinic registration (anticoagulation, wound, pain & supportive care, and prenatal), and surgical patient discharge. is entrance is open from 7:30am to 9:00pm and is also handicap accessible. Security guards and/or volunteers can provide a wheel chair or other assistance as needed.

Parking Options   We have several parking options available on our campus. Please look for a valet representative in a blue shirt or jacket, and he or she will assist you with parking, whether self-parking or using valet.

Shuttle Service   Those who wish to self-park can take advantage of our free shule service to reduce walking distances between your vehicle and hospital entrance.

To remain good neighbors to those living within close proximity of the hospital, we ask that you please use the valet parking or shuttle service provided and avoid using the street parking surrounding the hospital campus.

In late Summer, we plan to open a new Outpatient entrance, located next to our parking garage. More information will be available as we near completion. Our Emergency, Inpatient, and Blue entrances will remain open once the Outpatient entrance opens.
