The FMH Regional Cancer Therapy Center is home to the only
Radiation Oncology department in our area accredited by the American College of Radiology
Dr. Greg Gagnon joined the FMH CyberKnife Center
staff as Medical Director in February 2010. He spent the previous two decades at Georgetown University's Department of Radiation Medicine, serving as Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology, acting Chair of the Department of Radiation Medicine, Chief of Service and CyberKnife Director. As one of the pioneers in CyberKnife radiosurgery, Dr. Gagnon has extensive experience with the technology and has treated thousands of patients. His expertise in treating prostate, breast, lung and pancreatic cancers, as well as the work he has done in pediatric and central nervous system cancers has led to several publications and the co-authorship of two books about radiosurgery. He has been asked to lecture around the world, chiefly about CyberKnife radiosurgery, but also about other varied radiation oncology topics. Our goal is to offer an exceptional level of care in a compassionate and welcoming environment.
